This is the exciting part of our work together. Once your student receives their acceptance notification from colleges we begin the process of demystifying the responses and comparing acceptance and financial aid offers – While you and your student may have your heart set on a favorite school, if accepted into more than one and financial aid offers differ substantially, you may want to weigh carefully financial aid offers from each instution to estimate what your debt might be at the end of four years of college. This is a very personal family discussion. Corin Education Strategies is here to assist you in making sense of these letters/e-mails when they arrive and in arriving at the best decision for your student and your family. Because of our careful process in selecting colleges and universities for your application list, all of the schools to which your student applied will be those that your student agreed they would be happy to attend, so the goal now will be to assess the offers and end up with as little debt, if any, for your student and family at the end of your college career. After carefully assessing the offers you receive, this is the final step toward celebrating your choice of college!
All that’s left is to send your deposit to the college of your choice by the May 1st universal deposit deadline.
